Intermediate .Net Developer

About the Role

Are you a .NET Developer looking to apply your expertise in a collaborative and innovative environment? We're seeking a skilled.NET Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be required to design, develop and maintain software applications using the .NET framework. The role involves building high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet technical and business needs. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analyst and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of software projects and ongoing system enhancements.

Skills and Experience

  • Design, implement, and maintain security measures for cloud-native environments, including serverless and containerised infrastructure.
  • Utilize AWS security tools and open-source solutions to ensure infrastructure protection.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Enforce security baselines, such as PCI DSS and CIS AWS benchmarks.

  • What you'll do:

    • Develop and maintain web and desktop applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
    • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services for seamless system interaction.
    • Translate business requirements into technical designs that meet security, performance, and scalability standards.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and collaborative development with designers, testers, and other developers.
    • Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring long-term stability and performance.
    • Test, debug, and deploy solutions to cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
    • Document code, architecture, and deployment processes.
    • Research and suggest new tools or practices to improve delivery and quality.

  • Your expertise:

    • At least 5 years' experience in developing information systems.
    • 4+ years Software Development experience using C# / .Net.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and team working,
    • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services for seamless system interaction.
    • Translate business requirements into technical designs that meet security, performance, and scalability standards.
    • Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring long-term stability and performance.

  • The technology skillset required:

    • Microsoft technologies - .Net; SQL, Oracle, SharePoint
    • Software Development Tools: MS Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server
    • Software Languages: C#.Net, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, VbScript, XML, CSS, Advanced Transact SQL.
    • Technologies: Web Services, Windows Services, AJAX, Design Patterns, COM+, Active Directory, MFT, SharePoint
