National Security Policy Lead

As Coders Clutch continues to grow its Government Relations function, we are looking for a National Security Policy Lead to support our engagements with the National Security apparatus, Congress, and the Administration.Responsibilities
- Lead Coders Clutch's AI policy engagement with the National Security Apparatus
- Work with Public Sector Business Unit to successfully shape and create programs at the DoD, Intelligence Agencies, and more
- Lead and support engagements with industry trade associations and other relevant groups
- Work to understand business objectives and translate them into Policy wins
- Assist in the formation of Coders Clutch's Policy strategy and priorities
- Advise and brief Coders Clutch Leadership on policies impacting artificial intelligence policy
- Build relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Monitor policy and regulatory changes for potential impact to Coders Clutch's business
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Between 4-6 years experience in Defense Policy or working in the Government
- Experience successfully securing consensus for priorities at trade associations, standards bodies
- Experience leading company response to Rulemakings, Request for Comments, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous technical experience such as publishing research, covering technology policy, or working at a technical Government Agency
- A history of managing multiple works streams simultaneously
